Situated within pleasant school grounds on the Calthorpe Park Estate in Fleet, Tavistock pre-school offers children the highest quality of pre-school care.
The pre-school provides play and education sessions lasting 3 hours for children aged 2 until the time they are ready to start school.
The aims of the school are to meet EYFS (Early Years Foundation Scheme) learning goals through fun activities and to prepare children for a happy transfer to school.
We have friendly, caring and qualified staff working on a ratio of one adult to four children for the under 3s and one adult to eight children for the over 3s. There is a Keyperson system in place in order to provide each child with as much continuity in care as possible.
The pre-school has its own, newly decorated building and a fully enclosed, secure and all weather outside play area.
If you would like your child to attend the pre-school, you should contact us. The manager will take your details and your child's details and arrange a time for you to visit the pre-school.
When you come to visit, you can look around and see what goes on and ask any questions you may have. If you feel that the pre-school is suitable for your child and there is availability at the pre-school, you will be asked to pay a deposit of £25. This fee guarantees a place in the pre-school.
If however a place is unavailable, then your child can be placed on the waiting list. Your registration fee will be accepted when a place becomes available.
